Hunting at the Ranch
The 4,500 acre game proof ranch offers some of the best hunting in South Texas. In the 1990's, we began managing the whitetail herd with the primary goal of producing trophy whitetails. In 1999, we enrolled in the TPWD MLD program, which is now the Land Management Assistance program. With these state programs we have been able to implement management practices that has improved the habitat and the quality of game.
Annually we continue to carry on the historic tradition of hunting by offering a range of South Texas hunts. The ranch is best known for its trophy whitetail hunts but we also offer dove, quail, turkey, coyote, bobcat, hog and javelina hunts. Most of our whitetails have the classic South Texas 'typical' look, with a few having kickers and drop tines.
